PARENTING IN CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY
The evidence shows that parenting can be hard in any context. However, many professionals in the field of clinical psychology, experience additional pressure to 'perfect' their parenting abilities. This can impact wellbeing and create a culture where it is difficult to talk about and normalise the challenges that come with being a mental health professional and a parent.
We will be adding resources to this page which support self-compassion and link to the concept of being a 'good enough' parent.
This page will be updated soon. If you have resources that you have read and think that we should include on here, then please get in contact with us.
